Under the Arcade |
Brookgreen Gardens held its annual Art Under the Arcade Festival today.
Once a year Brookreen invites more 40 artists to gather to discuss, display, and sell their work during the
Artists Under the Arcade Festival. Original paintings, hand-made
jewelry, sweet-grass baskets, sculpture, photography, wooden bowls, and
pottery were all on exhibit and available for sale.
Exhibitors set up on tables in the breezeway between the visitor center and the gift shop, and and in tents on the grass assembly area beyond the breezeway.
A wide range of media were represented, including: painters, sculptors, glass artists, writers, photographers, basket makers, metal artists, and potters.
