The Archer |
This is our second year to attend Brookgreen Gardens' "Night of a Thousand Candles"
|
Becky, Jim, and Bruce |
This year we were joined by our friends Jim and Becky Sullivan.
|
Palm Garden Pond by Day |
Every Year, hundreds of volunteers string lights and light s tragically place thousands of candles throughout the the entire garden
Turning an already stunningly beautiful area
into a fairyland of sparking dancing light
|
Same Palm Garden Pond by candlelight. |
And here's a different view of the Palm Garden with the South Carolina State emblem ( Palmetto Palm and Moon)
Some of the displays are beautiful
And some are a bit spooky
|
Winter Bird house Display |
Their indoor floral displays are especially interesting
I's love to decorate our Carolina room with one of these themes
|
Winter Cardinal Display |
Or have a Christmas tree made entirely of Poinsettias
|
Jim, Becky and Bruce at the Concert |
The Concert featuring pianist Rocky
was top notch
Even if you have visited Brookgreen Gardens in the past, this event is not to be missed.
