Sunset After the Storm 6 '19

Looking west from  the front of our house

OMG!.  The sunset was so beautiful this evening

PI Beach Walk 6 "19

Beautiful day for a walk on the beach. It's been a nice sunny day with just a light breeze.

Actually it was just a bit too warm within the dunes

so we didn't waste much time getting down to the shoreline.

Once at the water's edge, the breeze was enough to cool us off,

 and the clouds were spectacular.

For  families , the shallow tidepools were  the preferred place to hang.  Moms socialized out near the shallow pools  which were  the perfect temperature  and depth for keeping the younger kiddies happy, and safe from currents and undertows.

Many of the Dads  taught their older kid show to fish in the North end channel

Evening walk around the PI marsh: 6 '19

What a beautiful evening for a walk around the marsh on the eastern side of  the plantation.

There were baby raccoons playing at the water's edge.

Pawleys  Barrier Island was highlighted by the setting sun in the  west.

Everything took on an ethereal glow,

and the western sunset across the  marsh was spectacular.
It was a perfect way to end the day.

Fun at the Brookgreen Gardens Art Show: 6' 19

It had been a long time since we had been to an out of door art craft show., so were both excited to  visit the Brookgreen Gardens Annual Arts and Craft show.

Bruce fully enjoyed  the  chance to get out and see  all the creativity which this area produces.

As always, the gardens were beautiful.

There was color every direction  we looked.

With plenty of places to rest under all the large heritage oaks in the gardens
