New Kitchen cookbook case: 7 ' 21

Bruce made me a bookcase to hold all of my cookbooks and recipe binders.  The books had been occupying three full upper shelves of a kitchen cupboard. They were hard to access, and taking up some valuable storage space in that location. This is so much more convenient.

Great Egret Construction MPOA Boundary Changes 7 '21

Now let's take a look at the North side of Great Egret Drive where the development backs up to the Master's Place boundary line.

Above is a photo of the backyard of the home that sits on the NE corner  Tanglewood and Great Egret Drives. The property backs onto the vacant heritage oak lot on the corner of Twelve Oaks and Tanglewood Drives.

I am happy to report that all of the centuries-old heritage oaks,  on both sides of the property line, have survived the development processes unscathed.

The photo above was taken from our back patio on 11/24/20  I  was looking southeast of the woods just starting as the contractors were starting to be clear the woods to make room for new houses.

This is that same view today as the bulldozer prepares to remove the last standing trees on the lot directly behind us .

And above is what it looks like with those trees removed.

This is the view from my back porch looking west along the POA/HOA  property line from my back porch a year ago (11/24/20).

And this photo above is the same view today.

The photo below was taken on 11/24/20  from our  backyard . The camera pointed east toward the end of Twelve Oaks Drive

And this is the same view today.
There's not a tree to be seen on the developer's property .

This is the terminal end of Twelve Oaks Drive We are looking at the utility access road on the eastern end of the Great Egret development that connects to          Twelve Oaks Drive.

There are still a few trees left standing on a lot that borders the 17th and 18th fairway,  but that lot has been sold.  I expect those trees will be removed once they are ready to begin construction.

New Development on Tanglewood and Great Egret Drives 7 '21

It has been over a year since a handful of model homes for single-family residences were built facing Tanglewood Drive.  Prior to beginning development, the land along Tanglewood  Drive,  between the Pawleys Plantation Clubhouse and  Twelve Oaks Drive was one large wooded lot It was bounded on the south by the PP 18th green and on the North by the Master's Place property.

Since then a new home has been built on every single lot on Tanglewood backing up the eighteenth green and is now owner-occupied.

Looking East from Tanglewood down the length of Great Egret.

Likewise, all of the lots on the Southside of Great Egret and backing onto the eighteeth fairway have sold and most of the construction has been completed and are nearly ready for occupancy.

Some of the residents closest to Tanglewood on the Northside of  Great Egret  are complete and several owners are already occupying their new homes

Looking west toward  Tanglewood from the middle of  Great Egret Dr.

Most homes on the north  ( left) side of the photo are still under construction, while most of the homes on the south ( right) side of the photo are ready for occupancy.

The Lot on the corner of 17th and18th fairway has been cleared for a new home.

As far as I can tell, all of the lots have been sold, and only the lot in the photo above and the lot that backs up to our home await construction.

The last remaining property with still-standing trees backs up to our own property.  It is being cleared of its trees for its new home construction today so I expect to have new neighbors by the end of summer.
