From Jekyll Island we drove to an area near Daytona Beach Fl. where we spent the night in and RV Park.. It was one of th0se big commercial cement slab affairs that snowbirds buy into so that they can spend the winter in Florida. This one had a golf course, but it still looked flat, ugly and treeless compared to the lush beauty we had just left behind us in South Carolina and Georgia.
