Those of you who watch Diners, Drive- ins, and Dives, on the Food Network, might have noticed that Guy Fieri has only visited two places in South Carolina .... one of which is Pawleys Front Porch in Columbia, SC. As Guy tells it, "this is a burger place doing handmade patties with a southern kicker ... fried green tomatoes". We decided to stop there for lunch today, and found it well worth the small detour. The patties are enormous ..a full half pound each.. with lots of choices for fix'in and sides.
