Bruce and I finally had two full free days off together,
and we wasted no time planning an overnight road trip to nearby Savannah Ga.
Once we got there, the first order of the day, take a trolley tour of the town so we could get an idea of what things we might want to see over and beyond our already packed to-do list.
The trolley tours offer a great way to get around the sprawling congested historic district of downtown Savannah. Parking is included in the price of the tour, so one can leave one's car on the outskirts of town then hop on and off the trolley all day long from any of 15 different convenient locations all over the historic district. While on the trolley, the guide gives a great overview of what there is to see and do in the area the trolley is passing through.
