Sedona Accomodations

For our family reunion we had arranged to have all the sisters stay at the Sedona Summit Resort which is located on the upper west end of Sedona, with impressive views of the magnificent red rock formations

My sister Lori and her husband, Dave, shared two adjoining condo units with Bruce and I .  Lori had a one bedroom with a full kitchen, and Bruce and I had a studio which connected to Lori's unit with a lock off door.  My daughter, Laura and her husband and two children had two  units which were identical to the units to the ones we stayed in.  Sister;s Jeannine ( and two of her grandchildren, and Sister Maria shared a similar set of two units.

All the units were furnished with the same living / dining room sofa,  TV,  and dining table for four people

The one bedroom unit's bed was in a private room

while the bedroom in the studio had the same bed but was open to the living room

Fireplace in one bedroom unit
The one bedroom units had a fireplace ( which wasn't used much at this time of year);

One bedroom kitchen had a full stove
and a larger kitchen

Studio  had a two burner stove but full fridge and microwave and dishwasher
One bedroom's hot tub.
The studio's bathroom only had a large shower, while the one bedroom had both a shower and tub.

Studio bathroom.
All four units were all right next door to each other. Since they had connecting doors, we could use each others kitchens and equipment for preparing group meals, and both spaces for socializing. Usually the kids were sent to the studio, and the adults took over the one bedroom.  It was very comfy and very convenient for the entire family.
This pool near the activity center was a favorite with the kids but if  they got too rowdy, some of the adults could opt to retreat to an adults only pool.
Of course most of the daytime  socializing was done out of doors at one or more of the resort's many pools

In the early evening the group would often get together for a pot luck at to one of the larger BBQ patio dining while the kids splashed about in an adjacent hot tub......
More photos to follow.

  Thanks for sharing  David!
